Full Name:Joseph Wessah Tah III, better known by his stage name J Slught, He’s actually a Liberian recording artist, performer, and also an entertainer,he best known for his chart-topping single “Don’t Jeck”.

J Slught Born in Harbel, Firestone Liberia.This all in one versatile individual started singing at a tender age. His father Mr. Joseph Wesseh Tah II is a mechanical engineer in the US while his mother Mrs Victoria Swah is a Liberian business woman.

J Slught understands the people in his age bracket and does songs to fit in that bracket is a strategy that is working for him perfectly.

J Slught would be a massive artiste eventually as he has come at a time when Afrobeat is getting a lot of respect all over the world.

Originally with the group Dreams Come True (DCT) boys, the artist established his solo career with the release of his single “Can’t Believe”, one of Liberia’s most remixed songs of all time. He followed up with “Sweet Love” which rose him to prominence and brought him to the spotlight in the Liberian music industry.
In 2019 J Slught won the Liberia Music Awards for “Best New Artist” and is currently signed to BeeVonne Recordz.

Music Career: J Slught dropped his first single “Can’t Believe” featuring C.I.C in 2008, the song was produced by Jackie Russ at that time, he was still in high school and making dope songs.

With much love and support from his team,he dropped another single in the same year titled: “Wrong Decision” featuring some members of his team including Facarious, Kelly Ready, and Squeezy.
That song was also produced by Jackie Russ.He left Dreams Come True (DCT) in 2014 after he completed High School and later joined Swag District in 2016 where he continued to prove his versatility,as he was featured on Swag District’s Cypher. He later released two songs featuring top Liberian artistes including P.C.K, Nuchie Meek, A.Raw, and Afo4doe. That song was one of the most played songs so far that year. Basking on the heavy drums and slow tempo melody, J Slught synced with the beat well, supplying lyrics, creating the kind of vibes Chris Brown had on Little more.

In 2017 he was featured by top notch Liberian rapper Nuchie Meek on a song titled “Operate” in which the artist split fire. Later J Slught career took a new trend when he got signed to BeeVonne Recordz late 2017 that afforded him the opportunity to produce with Benny Sound of Nigeria while working with some good local engineer Lucape and Smykid on his two well received hits, “Don’t Jerk” and “Sweet Love”.
