The arrest of popular Comedian has shaken Sierra Leone.

The Government risks turning the popular Comedian into a populist icon. THE video for his Role play “Maada Bio” imagines Constantine, better known as Bupa barks like a Dog, trapped in a jail cell. Now the popular Comedian really is locked up.
On November the 3rd the authorities in Freetown arrested Mr Bupa, along with other Comedians. Source close to the Family informed me, the Sierra Leone Police are planning to charge the popular Comedian with treason for publicly disrespecting the President when he barks like a dog when called Maada Bio and Lungi bridge.
His friends stated he was beaten by the Kamajors Police officers through out the night . Opposition politicians are often arrested on bogus charges but Mr Bupa detention has ignited public outrage and exposed the generational chasm in Sierra Leone politics.
Mr Bupa has become the unofficial spokesman for young people disillusioned with the New Direction Government numerous promises made to the people of Sierra Leone without any tangible actions from the PROPAGANDA Government to fulfil their numerous promises.
